For some reason, that reminds me of a story I heard third hand at knit night. When a young woman asked the Yarn Harlot on her last visit to Portland if when she finished a project, she actually felt a little let down, her response was to ask the young woman if she only had one project on the needles at a time. Predictably, she said yes.
Personally, I keep all my current projects in my knitting bag all the time. And that bag goes EVERYWHERE with me.
My joy (aside from my husband, kids and Schipperke dogs) is any aspect of the fiber arts. I knit, spin, weave, embroider and sew any chance I get.
Currently, I alternate my time between my home in Washington State and a second home in near Fresno, California. My husband and I are each counting the days when he can retire and we won't have to commute to California any longer.
