It seems like only yesterday that Justin thought girls were gross. Now my young man on his way to the senior prom!

- My joy (aside from my husband, kids and Schipperke dogs) is any aspect of the fiber arts. I knit, spin, weave, embroider and sew any chance I get. Currently, I alternate my time between my home in Washington State and a second home in near Fresno, California. My husband and I are each counting the days when he can retire and we won't have to commute to California any longer.

It's a shock, isn't it? The first time our oldest (my stepson, now 21) picked me up, instead of me picking him up, was when I really realized that kids grow up. Your son is a handsome kid. I hope he had a great time at the prom.

I'm there, too. My guy has been invited to the prom and is spending endless hours looking at suit rentals and trying to match a tie to his girlfriend's dress. Endless hours and finals are coming up. Priorities,
