I love the idea of owning a snuggle handknit film... but could never stick with it. I really like the idea of doing it square by square like you are. I can't wait to see it when you're done. What kind of yarn are you using?
Hello from the great Northwest! I am fascinated by your afghan. This is the answer to my problem. I never start because I know I'll never finish. Thanks for all the great pictures. We used to have our boat at Rio Vista, a funky run-down marina where we mostly hung out. We loved learning about the Delta. The sun is shining up hear today. Check out my blog with the photo of the Mukilteo ferry. Virginia Wagner

ReplyDeleteYour afghan should go on tour and then be in the Smithsonian. I'll be on security detail.
ReplyDeleteseriously, I've got to see this book! Are you doing all the squares in it, or choosing certain ones for your afghan?
I'm with Sharon- there is a definite essence of "Masterpiece!" in the selection and execution of the squares.
ReplyDeleteooooo, pretty!
ReplyDeleteWow! You are chugging right along. I am still only on my 2nd square. I figure in about 2 years I'll have the whole thing done.
