What is this??????

Kenny wants me to knit him a hooded sweatshirt for the upcoming school year. He has requested "a cool sweater with a dragon or wolf on it". I got out my graph paper and started to sketch out a pattern. I then turned to the internet for some inspiration. But when I came across this on the net, all I could think of was "Why?????"

Why would anyone want to wear a sweater that looks like roadkill?

Dead raccoon as art form. There should really be x's for the eyes and a tongue hanging out. That is just creepy. Did you show it to Kenny? You could probably get a great horrified reaction out of him...

I think you've just posted your first Crack (Me Up) Saturday post. That is some kind of fugliness. Please don't tell me the designer is from Western PA or West Virginia... aaauugghh

LOL! That is just too great. I have an old knitting book called "wild Knitting" from 1979 that has an armadillo roadkill stole. Just like a fox stole with the head and tail...but an armadillo. What where they thinking??

Oh golly! Thanks so much for your own "What Not to Knit" segment. I echo you--why? I don't know any raccoon lovers. And you'd have to LOVE raccoons.

Oh. Mah. Gawd. I nearly fell off my chair!

In all honesty, that is the *only* way I like to see raccoons, because they scare the spit out of me when I see them, three at a time, lumbering along the top of the back fence in the wee morning hours. It's a shock to realize what they are, when in my semi-conscious state I at first think they're cats.

Too bad "You Knit WHAT?" isn't accepting new photos anymore. That would be perfect for it! It's just awful!

Um. I don't know what to say to that one. Can you imagine being in public and having that walk up to you? How the heck could you be even remotely polite?

Oooo, and I thought you were going to say that is your next WIP! LOL!! It would be a great "embarrass your kid in front of his friends" sweater!

Ha ha! I love the deer in the headlight look in his face.

That is hideous. What was the designer thinking?? Who would even model that??

If you want some decent inspiration try Meg Swansen's Knitting, there's an awesome phoenix sweater that would probably appeal to any cool guy.

Holy ringtailed bandits, Batman! What a crazy sweater! I wonder what the designer was smokin'?

Ahhh, that is hilarious! I love raccoons, but not enough to wear a dead one as a sweater.
