Loaded with Preservatives

Ever wondered why airline snacks always taste like cardboard? I think I discovered the reason why during our last flight.

Look closely at the expiration date..........

Apparently, these chips are best when consumed before April 3007!

That is justinsane. Those chips will be around longer than the rest of us, barring any world record holders.

Chips and cockroaches- both will out live the human race.

LOL!! Maybe that is Apr 30 07? In which case they're past the pull date?!

They must be made by the same folks who bring us Twinkies. I hear they found some in the tomb of King Tut--and they were still good.

Hate to ruin the fun, but I think danielle is correct. However, they're still out of date, although that suggested pull date is more to protect the seller than the consumer. Not that your airline seems to care either way. I wonder if we flip that little baggie over and check the ingredient list what we might find to laugh (or cry) about.

By 3007, I'm sure thousand-year-old chips will be considered a delicacy...

I vote for the Apr 30 date. Surprised they weren't mouldy. Yukk.
